چکیده

The forest spatial structure and diversity of tree species, as the important evaluation indicators quality, are key factors affecting carbon storage. To analyze impacts biodiversity indices stand on density, five were calculated from three aspects richness, evenness, (Reineke’s density index, Hegyi’s competition index Simple mingling degree) structure. relationships between these eight explored using Structural Equation Model (SEM). Then, used characteristic variables to predict aboveground trees (abbreviated density) in sample plots National Forest Resources Continuous Inventory (NFCI) Shaoguan City 2017. Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) four typical machine learning models Random (RF), Tree-based Piecewise (M5P), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Support Vector (SVR) density. results show that: (1) Based analysis structural equation model (SED), species have greater (2) R2 all prediction is than 0.6, among which random highest. (3) calculation optimal RF, mean city 2017 was 43.176 tC/ha. can be accurately estimated based with algorithms. Therefore, a new method for storage explored. By analyzing different scientific reference making management measures increasing sinks reducing emissions provided.

Diversity, Stand Characteristics and Spatial Aggregation of Tree Species in a Bangladesh Forest Ecosystem

Assessing biodiversity and the spatial structures of forest ecosystems are important for forestry and nature conservation. However, tropical forests of Bangladesh are only sparsely investigated. Here we determined biodiversity (alpha, beta and gamma), spatial species turnover and stand characteristics of one of the few remnant tropical forests in Bangladesh. Two differently protected areas of S...

Influence of Tree Species Composition and Community Structure on Carbon Density in a Subtropical Forest

We assessed the impact of species composition and stand structure on the spatial variation of forest carbon density using data collected from a 4-ha plot in a subtropical forest in southern China. We found that 1) forest biomass carbon density significantly differed among communities, reflecting a significant effect of community structure and species composition on carbon accumulation; 2) soil ...

Strong density- and diversity-related effects help to maintain tree species diversity in a neotropical forest.

Intraspecific density-dependent effects in the Barro Colorado Island (Panama) study area are far stronger, and involve far more species, than previously had been suspected. Significant effects on recruitment, many extremely strong, are seen for 67 out of the 84 most common species in the plot, including the 10 most common. Significant effects on the intrinsic rate of increase are seen in 54 of ...

Tree Diversity Enhances Stand Carbon Storage but Not Leaf Area in a Subtropical Forest

Research about biodiversity-productivity relationships has focused on herbaceous ecosystems, with results from tree field studies only recently beginning to emerge. Also, the latter are concentrated largely in the temperate zone. Tree species diversity generally is much higher in subtropical and tropical than in temperate or boreal forests, with reasons not fully understood. Niche overlap and t...

Spatial variability and estimation of tree attributes in a plantation forest in the Caspian region of Iran using geostatistical analysis

This research was conducted to investigate spatial variability and estimate tree attributes in a plantation forest in the Caspian region of Iran using geostatistical analysis. Sampling was performed based on a 50m?125m systematic grid in a maple stand (Acer velutinum Boiss) 18 years of age using circular samples of 200m2 area. Totally, 96 sample plots were measured in 63 hectares and 14.25 he...
